I finally upgraded to Leopard a little more than 10 months after the release. Everything is running smoothly so far.
Those new imacs sure look good. The lowest model is faster than my G5 tower at less than half the price. iLife 08 looks interesting. But be careful if you use imovie as the new version will not run on a G4 computer or a G5 slower than 2 gHz. I'll wait until my extended warranties expire this coming winter.
If you haven't backed up your files lately, you are asking for trouble. Hard drives fail. There are too much important files that I sure don't want to loose. I found a few Seagate drives that have a 5 year warranty and purchased cases to put together my own drives. I use Super Duper to do my backups on the G5 and the Powerbook.
I designed this site in Sandvox. I never heard of it until today as I was limited with iweb for a client and the learning curve in Dreamweaver or GoLive was too much for her. I also looked at Freeway 5. I was extremely impressed.
